Well, the big breaking news (can we call it breaking if we've been hearing these rumors for months?)...Nick Saban (a.k.a. Huey Lewis) is Alabama's new coach. Sorry, Laine, not as cute as Shula as you requested, but hopefully will get some things going - big recruiting weekend!!

I think that he will do a good job and I'm generally excited about him coming - I hope he lives up to the hype! I also hope he's bringing Jimbo Fisher with him which is certainly the speculation.

Another day in the ongoing saga I guess. This has been a soap opera from day one and we should consider renaming to "Drama University", but it's finally taking the upward swing and hopefully we can put this mess behind us and concentrate on the job at hand...BEATING AUBURN for the first time in a while!

Oh well...I never thought I'd live to see the day where we became known as a basketball school, but hats off to Gottfried!! I hope someone doesn't steal him away...
